Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland

The Board of Professional Engineers of Queensland (BPEQ) regulates the engineering profession under the Professional Engineers Act 2002. Established in 1930, BPEQ registers engineers with the protected title of Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), ensuring they meet high standards of competence and ethical practice. Over 23,000 RPEQs are registered across various disciplines. BPEQ also investigates any misconduct or non-compliance with the Act, ensuring public safety and upholding engineering standards.
